Madelaine Petsch’s New Fabletics Collection Was Inspired By Runway Fashion

Cheryl Blossom would be so into this. Riverdale star Madelaine Petsch has her first-ever collection with Fabletics, and it combines high-fashion with comfy workout and loungewear—so, basically, it’s practically made for River Vixens everywhere.

Petsch excitedly announced her debut Fabletics collection on Saturday, August 1st, in an Instagram post, kicking off a new month in style. Alongside a picture of her in a matching red set, she wrote, “IT’S FINALLY HERE!!!!! My fabletics collection is officially out in the world and I couldn’t be more excited for you to see it, feel it and wear it!”

At the same time, Fabletics shared a series of Instagram posts showing Petsch in some of the styles, spelling out her name, “Madelaine,” when you see them in sequence on the brand’s feed. The collection pops with lots of fire-engine red (so Cheryl of her) and black, alongside some ballet pink, light blue, maroon, and a touch of, ahem, blossoms.

We’re spotting some piping detail, lace, ruffles, and cut-outs on these leggings, jackets, and sports bras that turn a straight activewear collection into fashion.

And high fashion is exactly what Petsch had in mind when teaming up with Fabletics.

“I was inspired by the latest runway trends, so each style has fashion-forward details and all of the support and sculpting benefits of your favorite sports bras and leggings,” she said about the collection, according to its website.

Like with all Fabletics collections, you can shop pieces individually or in sets. Some come in two pieces (sports bra/top plus leggings/shorts) and others add a bonus piece, like a jacket, sweatshirt, or top. Prices will depend on if you’re a VIP Fabletics member, if you’re shopping for the first time, if you’re buying a set, or if you’re just grabbing one Petsch piece and moving on. Exact pricing details can be found on the item page, but leggings are around $50 to $65 and sports bras clock in around $40 to $55 (or about half that, for each, if you’re a VIP).

Petsch’s Riverdale co-stars have already been shopping her new line. Vanessa Morgan, who plays her on-screen love interest, Toni Topaz, commented on her Instagram announcement to say that her box has already arrived. Asha Bromfield (who played Melody) wrote, “Yay!” with a shining star and fire emoji, and Marisol Nichols (Hermione Lodge) sent four red hearts.
