New Stoneware Pendants What are all those brown specks?

Thistle Pendant built from speckled stoneware ceramic clay.  It was by chance that I utilised this speckled clay to make some pendants and toggle clasps with.  In truth I did not even definitely know that it was speckled.  When I opened the kiln and bought these pieces out I imagined that they seemed darker than regular.   When I seemed extra carefully I observed the dim specks.  At initial I was not guaranteed if I favored them.  That sort of uncertainty when a single initial opens the kiln is not strange.  It normally takes some superior daylight and time to fully see what you have considering that expectations truly do coloration your eyesight at first.  I was not anticipating the speckles so what  I was seeing was these pieces as they should really have been and was a little bit dissatisfied. A handful of hours later on I experienced changed my thoughts.  I could see  how incredibly the dark specks ended up interacting with the other shades in the pendants. I made a decision they were good–they reminded me of raku work that has had sawdust thrown on it. So I shown all of these in my Etsy store.  It a couple of days they were being all Sold except for the Wild Grass Pendants.
